An average consultant’s journey into fixing as many PPTs as possible
Welcome to my blog!
“Please fix, thanks” is a tribute to all consultants who’ve spent countless hours attempting to remedy their ppt slides to undecipherable comments given by partners/PMs.
Just trying to document my experiences in management consulting. Please note that all the content written are solely one of personal opinion, not objective fact. I just hope to shed some light into the consulting industry, as it is difficult to gain an inside view on the everyday activities of what consultants actually do.
Due to the confidential nature of this work, I do not disclose any sensitive information about any of the actual clients, nor the intricacies of an actual engagement. Rather, this blog is a compilation of personal insights I’ve gained throughout my experiences across various industries and functions.
Hope you enjoy, and make sure to have your “PPT Juice”!
“Create slides that demonstrate, with emotional proof, that what you’re saying is true not just accurate.”
— Seth Godin
Part of the perks of working for global consulting firm (MBB) is getting to attend global/regional training workshops on a regular basis. You get an opportunity to travel abroad to the regional headquarters for a full week, and you also get to meet global colleagues around the world, and see how they have been going through, as consulting projects really differ in dynamics depending on the local context and client.
